We are a Colorado business and personal injury litigation firm representing and advising the catastrophically injured and their families, entrepreneurs, investors and their businesses. We were founded in 2008 in Colorado by Bret Beattie a Colorado, Texas and California licensed attorney.
About Bret Beattie:
Bret Beattie is a former-CPA- turned- trial- attorney with experience in over 100 trials and arbitrations involving a wide variety of commercial, catastrophic injury & wrongful death cases spanning 21 years.
Bret’s academic work in securities fraud was published following a 2 1/2 year engagement litigating securities fraud cases and billions of dollars in claims following the collapse of the Enron Corporation while practicing with the prestigious McKool Smith firm in Dallas, TX.
Since establishing the firm in Colorado in 2008, the firm has handled a wide variety of complex litigation, appeals and catastrophic injury cases. Read more About the Firm

What I learned representing the insurance companies, and the people and companies they insured, gave me the inside view of how they view risks and how to maximize the risks of going to trial. I also learned how to defeat false defenses. I spent the first decade of my career in Los Angeles defending these very same cases, literally for insurance carriers A-Z (AIG to Zurich.)
